About MeI combine technology and art to create engaging content and tell compelling stories.

I specialize in pairing art and technology in order to deliver a quality product that will stand out in the constantly changing mediascape. For the past 9 years, I have immersed myself in learning and practicing my craft. I have worked on a wide range of projects in both New York and Los Angeles including commercials, music videos, advertising, and 3D videos for clients including Panasonic, Target, The Independent Film Channel, and NBC. I give the utmost attention and dedication to every project I am involved with, and strive to deliver ahead of schedule in addition to exceeding expectations.

I began working with video in high school while writing, producing, and directing a nationally award-winning high school newscast. I continued on for several years as a multi-camera director and editor at El Segundo TV (Scan Natoa STAR Awards 2010, 1st in Overall Excellence -400k, 1st in Magazine Show -400k).

After moving to New York to attend school and work as a freelancer, I worked on an array of projects from producing and directing videos for The Independent Film Channel's Make Media Matter blog, to creating electronic press kits for musicians such as Caitlin Moe (The Trans-Siberian Orchestra). I have spent time on the set of internationally syndicated broadcast television programs as a production and post production assistant including The Third Presidential Debate (NBC), Take Home Chef (The Learning Channel), and Mystery ER (Discovery Health).

In addition to my broadcast work, I have directed and edited a series of independent video projects, such as the short film SNUFF (HFC 2008 Film Festival, Best Audio Design, Best Supporting Actor). I am one of the founders and the director of Subway Sessions, a performance based web series showcasing musicianship in the MTA subway system that has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NBC New York, Billboard, Tubefilter, and the staff picks of Blip.tv. Our artist roster includes mainstream musicians such as Damian Kulash of OK Go, Donavon Frakenreiter, and Cary Brothers.

I served as a panelist at the New York State Communication Association's "Communication Matters" conference, discussing building independent web series as well as presenting social media literacy education research under Paul Mihailidis, PhD. My video and broadcast design work was presented by Peter Gershon, PhD, and Jamie Cohen during a panel at the 2009 Broadcast Education Association Convention titled "Teaching Television Production in the Age of YouTube". I also helped establish the first university sanctioned web television channel featuring original content, HTVinteractive.

Between 2006 and 2009, I assisted serial entrepreneur Jill De Forest in developing a summer workshop for kids interested in professional acting at Raleigh Studios, Manhattan Beach. During this time, I served as the cinematographer and editor for 15 original short movies, designed all printed and web materials for the company, and developed and taught an introduction to filmmaking curriculum for kids and teens.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Video/Television and Business from Hofstra University with a minor in Marketing, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. My resume is available upon request.
